A day in the life · For members

The room, at work in your life.

The app is a room you already live in. Here is a day, a week, and a year through it, and the twelve moments the platform earns its keep.

One Tuesday

A day, from the app's side.

7:12 am
You open the Home tab over coffee. The Daily Brief. Freya's numbered edition dropped overnight. Your sister's birthday is in nine days — three gift picks are already surfaced, pulled from what she has been looking at on Lavish.
10:40 am
You add the smallest of the three to your own wishlist to think about. Your sister sees you added it, quietly. Her thumbs-up lands twenty minutes later.
12:30 pm
A wedding invitation lands in email. By lunch a small capsule is waiting in the Shop: a dress you already wishlisted, shoes you already own, a gift from the couple's registry, and a hotel the Concierge already knows you would like.
3:15 pm
Cape Town in three weeks. The packing list has already written itself from your calendar and the ten-day forecast. It asks whether the hike is Sunday morning or Sunday afternoon.
6:30 pm
Two members in your city are hosting a Saturday swap. Three pieces you flagged for sale would find good homes there. You reserve a spot.
9:00 pm
Your Room lights up. A friend has posted a look for tomorrow. You send back a thumbs-up and one specific note. She sees your answer before she goes to bed.
The next day
The birthday gift is confirmed and shipping. The trip is packed on paper. Two closet pieces are on their way to consignment. One is going to your sister. That is not four separate apps.
Across a year

Twelve moments the platform earns its keep.

01

Never miss the birthday.

Family profiles hold anniversaries, birthdays, sizes and taste for everyone in your circle. Ten days out, the Concierge nudges you with three picks from what that person has actually been looking at. You confirm one, it ships.

02

The wishlist other people can see.

Your close circle can see your wishlist, and you can see theirs. Nobody has to guess. Nobody has to explain. The gift is the gift, not a proxy.

03

Pack for the trip you're actually taking.

Cape Town in November plus a black-tie invitation and a Sunday hike. The packing list writes itself from your calendar, the destination weather, and the pieces already in your closet. It also flags what to leave home.

04

The closet that tells you what to sell.

Every piece you own has a wear count and a live secondary-market value. Twice a year, the closet surfaces what has not been worn in eighteen months and what has appreciated. One tap moves either category to consignment.

05

A Saturday swap.

Members in the same city meet at a small venue with three or four pieces each. Things trade hands without money moving. Anything left over is donated to a partner charity. It happens monthly.

06

The second opinion.

Post an outfit to your Room, a private circle of five to ten friends. Get a thumbs-up, a thumbs-down, or a specific note. Answered in under an hour, in taste you already trust.

07

Small cohorts, by taste and by city.

Members with similar profiles or in the same neighborhood get grouped into small circles. A new house drops in your circle first. A pop-up in your city hits you before it hits the newsletter.

08

The wedding capsule.

An invitation to a Saturday wedding in April turns into a suggested capsule: a dress from your wishlist, shoes you already own, a gift from the couple's registry, a hotel Via already knows you would like.

09

Via remembers.

You don't like cilantro. You always take window seats. Your daughter is allergic to peanuts. Every booking, restaurant and reservation stops assuming and starts remembering.

10

Reserve and hold.

Take a piece off the market for twenty-four hours while your partner or the Room weighs in. No pressure sale. If the yes lands, it ships. If not, it returns to the shelf without penalty.

11

The archive that beats the impulse.

Before you buy the third camel coat, the Closet reminds you that you already own one, same weight, worn twice last winter. The best purchase is often the one you did not make.

12

Small in-person moments.

Dinner at Freya's Ecuador atelier. A boot fitting at Petite Paloma. A studio visit at The Blue Print. A dozen a year, small groups, invitation-only. What memberships used to give you.

Underneath

Three things make it work.

Memory

Nothing you say twice.

Every piece you own, every dish you liked, every reservation Via made — the platform remembers. Recommendations improve because the profile deepens, not because you keep filling out forms.

Curation

A short list, always.

The Shop is twenty-five houses, not four hundred brands. The Journal is edited. The events are chosen. Nothing here is trying to be everything, and nothing here is trying to sell you something you should not want.

Community

Small circles of taste.

Your Room, your city, your taste cohort — five to ten people, chosen deliberately. The people you already trust, given a room to meet in.

The full distance

The purchase is the first mile. The wardrobe is the whole distance.

The first mile · Built

Found, verified, bought.

  • The daily drop, chosen from her Canon
  • Via answers before she asks
  • Member pricing, settled with the house
  • The record returned to the brand
Signal it leaves behind

House, size, price, cadence.

The next miles · In production

Worn, packed, cared for, given.

  • What to wear on Thursday
  • What to pack for four nights away
  • Alterations, care and repair
  • Gifting from someone else's Canon
Signal it leaves behind

Occasion, season, fit, what actually gets worn.

The final mile · The upside

Resold, to the next member.

  • Only Lavish-bought pieces qualify
  • Provenance already on file
  • 15% take on the resale
  • Coins back against new merchandise
Signal it leaves behind

Residual value, lifespan, true cost.

The final mile is somebody else's first

The first mile transacts today; the next miles are in production. Every one of them is a moment no marketplace sees, and a signal the Canon keeps.

11
The impulse archive

You already own a camel coat. Worn twice last winter.

08
The wedding capsule

An invitation becomes a capsule from what you own.

Then
H2 2027

Three themes underneath the next system.

Location context

Where you are shapes what you see. Trip planning, arrival guides, live weather.

Canon memory

Preferences that persist. Every reservation, every gift, every choice remembers.

Live valuation

The closet as an asset ledger. What you own, what it's worth, what isn't being worn.

Where the room takes shape, once density is there.

Community, in person

Small circles by taste and by city. Atelier moments and swaps once membership is dense enough to fill a room.

Family & occasion

The gifting layer. Milestones the platform reminds you about, on time.

Portable taste

A profile that travels with you. Into any conversation, any concierge, any hotel.

Underneath all of it: memory, curation, community. Sequencing is our recommendation, not a promise.

If any of this sounds like the app you wanted

Membership is by invitation.
